Approximately 45% of the total EU-25 herbage seed production area is located in the Scandinavian and Baltic countries. The major species grown are perennial ryegrass, red fescue, meadow fescue, timothy, smooth stalked meadow grass, white and red clover.
The objective of the seminar is to bring together scientists, advisers and seed growers to discuss the newest results and trends from research and practical farming within the Scandinavian and Baltic countries.
