NETARD Workshop: Strategies to utilize high genetic diversity in field crops in developing countries
This international workshop will be held at The Royal Veterinary and Agricultural University (KVL) on December 14th. 2006.
The main objective of this workshop is to present and discuss the existing diversity in agricultural crops at the field level and the prospects for utilising this resource for increased food security in Africa. Further objectives will be to discuss the advantages of low tech farming practices and the utilisation of existing genetic resources for increasing agricultural production and improving the livelihood of resource poor farmers in developing countries.
