BioCampus Conference: Public Perception of Gene Modified Organisms
The conference will be held at The University of Copenhagen on november 24th. The aim is to elucidate benefits and risks of GMO plants and animals for the society as a whole. However, not only benefits and risks have to be considered, but also ethichs and faith and the impact on socioeconomics, infrastructure, industry, and research.
The conference will highlight new perspectives on GMO technology, such as the impact on biological evolution and the use of GMO technologies in medical and pharmacological search of new medicine and health care, including research on life-style related diseases.
